IC Network Current Status


The transmission network is undergoing a series of upgrades and capacity additions, where work is of minor consequence with no sustained disruption work will be conducted on-going. Where works entail a routing change of longer than 30 seconds but under 5 minutes work will be restricted to between 6pm & 10pm each day. Where works are required that need an outage of longer than 5 minutes the hours will be restricted to 10pm to 2am and further notice will be provided here for these outages.

This is a huge project with every router in the network requiring changes / upgrades hence the blanket notice to allow these works to be completed within the shortest possible time with the least downtime and least degradation to performance possible.
